How do I care for my Vukari Art?

In case of a spill or pet mishap, blot with tissue while it is still pooling on top of the hair, and wipe with a damp cloth.

If there is a stain from red wine or coloured beverages, wipe gently with a wet cloth. If the stain persists, wipe with a wet cloth and mild detergent.

Baby shampoo (the foaming kind) is very mild and safe to use. Cows have natural oils in their hair, and strong detergents will remove the natural oils.

Do not wash the piece with carpet cleaning machines. The hide under the hair is porous and will absorb the water. The suction force of these machines may damage the hair.

Dusty? Brush gently. It is not advisable to vacuum your piece with a high-power vacuum.
