An elephant bull died on top of the mountain, they say, and from there he keeps watch, the power of his warm embrace felt by all who look up to him.
Fed by the magic of folklore, his majestic essence comes to life against the backdrop of thunder and lightning.
Those a little tipsy or in the enchantment of magic would find themselves on the mountain, where, as the Afri-mythical tale continues, the mighty elephant would gently scoop them up in his tusks and throw them into the valley. There they would land, always unhurt.
But it would be unwise to anger this mystical protector, as his other name suggests: “The elephant who eats up those who anger him.”
